Anyone play this?

Ive played it a fair amount, almost hit the level cap. The rules are pretty close to the real game but its still different. If anyone has any questions ill be glad to help ya out

I played it for about two months but just could not handle being locked into a town in a "dnd" game. I found there is really no adventuring to the game just grind dungeons over and over. Having the only option for pvp being the brawler areas in the bars was not to appealing either. I will say however that the dungeons are done very well. They do capture a dungeons and dragons type feel but a grind is a grind so it was /cancel.

The last time I tried it, it sure seemed that way - and that was quite some time ago. I wasn't dedicated enough to stick it through to the end of the grind even - it got too boring for me. But then I'm not active any more, so it could have changed - though I would conjecture for the worse. I have friends who stuck with it much longer, but judging by their play styles it seems to be a game for the hardcore DnD (not simply hardcore MMO) fans.

i played a 2 week trial well to me it was a 1 day trial since it didnt draw me in i like open world style mmo not your stuck in a town doing instances type games

I'm a major fan of d&d. My dm is good we do roleplaying adventures and mostly quests.

the quests are like dungoens but some of them are like escourt quests or roleplaying quests or even stealth op missions.

It is a lot of fun. The classes are fun to but d&d has always been revolved around team work never soloing.

Yea they have a 4th Edition. It's not the best but it is alright. Pretty much hack and slash straight across the board. I like 3rd edition too. I liked playing as a ranger with my animal companion and specializing in archery.

Dual wielding is alright but i like to use a great swords.

it deals 2d6 + 1 and 1/2 your STR mod pretty nice damage. Or a great axe.
