It's fun, mostly. It's annoying when you're just trying to sort your bank and get hit by a zombie; then 2 minutes later, you have to stop what you're doing and suicide yourself (or die from zombie starvation slowly) so you can corpse-run and get back to what you were doing.

Other than that, yeah it's fun.

2 minutes? it's down to 1 you hardly have time to cleanse yourself and fight before you're toast because there aren't any NPCs to help anymore. the major cities are pretty much lifeless unless you can fly

Down to 1 already? Last night I was running amok spreading the plague to Exodar and it was 2. Tomorrow, insta-zombies? o_O

lol Shattrath is safe from player zombies because it's a no-fight zone. Only NPC zombies can attack you there.

Zombies are going away with the Tuesday maintenance, fyi, for those of you who wanted to hop on and have fun wreaking some undead havoc

Was it pretty fun all in all?

All in all, I enjoyed it immensely. It gave players something to do, when people were basically not really focused on progression, pvp, or anything other than amassing money for the expansion. It could sometimes be annoying, especially when level 70 player-zombies would attack low-level towns or player-zombies would attack remote camps with little defense (killing flight masters was especially annoying). But overall, it was a fun event.

Going into Exodar with just 5 guildmates and wreaking havock (well, in one wng of the Exodar anyway) was awesome, and something we'd never have been able to do without this event.
